A little background.

From TM:
We needed a bridge. RJ happened to stop by while were designing a new studio layout. RJ is a skilled cabinet maker and husband of our bookkeeper, Jodi. “I can build your bridge.” RJ said. “Fine,” I said. “I want a two-tower suspension bridge 40-inches long.” Two weeks later, RJ walked in with this gorgeous bridge that meshed perfectly in our layout. I said, “You want to go into the toy train modeling business?” RJ, who is also a train nut, said, “Sure, I’d love to.” So that’s how Custom Designs by RJ was born.

Since then, RJ has built layouts, bridges, stations – lots of different things. One guy called recently and wants a model of the Empire State Building. Hope he’s a local.

RJ does exquisite work. He’s studied industrial design, art, architecture – and is a world-class cabinet and model maker. I recommend him highly.

If you can picture it, RJ can build it.
